HIGH-POROUS PERMEABLE CELLULAR MATERIALS OF THE CORUNDUM CERAMICS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The resulting samples are highly porous materials with cellular structure on the basis of alumina GN-1, with a grain size of 40-60 microns and the reinforcing component of porcelain PFL-1. The most durable samples with cell sizes of approximately 0.3-0.5 and 0.8-1 mm, respectively, was obtained from a composition of 50% alumina and 50% of the porcelain after firing at 1450 °C. These samples had a porosity of 88-94%, the compressive strength is 2.3 to 3.5 MPa. The open porosity in the jumpers was 40-50%, the ave-rage pore radius is in the jumpers of 1-2 µm.
